Now, as a Clinical Nutritionist basking in the vitamin D paradise of Queensland, Australia, I've turned that personal quest into a mission: helping others navigate their own health mazes with a map I wish I'd had.
I've learned the body is inherently intelligent and always working to restore balance. It's resilient, designed to return to a state of health when given the right support.
It constantly sends signals, like a sophisticated communication system. Sometimes it whispers, sometimes it shouts, but it's always trying to tell us something.
I'm here to help you tune in to the feedback your body provides, interpret its signals, and understand what they mean for your health.
Together, we'll navigate the overwhelming world of food choices, replacing restriction with awareness so you can enjoy eating while staying in control of your wellbeing.
Think of me as your first line of defence, your nutritional detective, your curious collaborator. Ok, I'll leave it there; I think you get the picture.
I have firsthand experience with the role that nutrition can play in restoration. And as someone managing ADHD in my daily life, I also know how hard it can be to find genuine, practical, and informed support. That lived experience is what keeps me grounded in this work, it shapes not just what I do, but why I care so deeply about doing it.
For me, that wall was an unsolved puzzle of iron deficiency anemia and subclinical hypothyroid. After running into dead ends on the conventional path, I decided to seek the understanding I was searching for.
That journey led me to a bachelor's degree in health science, where I dived into the interconnected world of pathophysiology, biochemistry, the wellness wheel, nutritional science, Maslow's hierarchy of needs, lifestyle impacts, and so much more, including, of course, the intricate dance of how our bodies process what we eat. (Both conditions now happily resolved, by the way. And because I’m always wanting to bring more to the table, especially when it comes to holistic care, I’m currently completing a degree in Naturopathy).
